The CitiSpi team are not one to say no to a cheese night, nor to a glass of grape for that matter! Some of our team members have been known to occasionally eat nothing but cheese for both breakfast, lunch and dinner. You get the picture – we love cheese!
We are all very fortunate to live in a city that has such an abundance of cheese and grape theme nights to choose from, which also makes it tricky to know where to begin in this vast jungle of soft, hard, cow, goat, sheep, blue, extra matured and washed rind cheeses. CitiSpi has however scouted high and low to find some of our favourite spots for a sophisticated evening of pairing, so you can relax and just make your pick.
We have fallen in love with everything about this stunning hotel on The Palm! Take your taste buds on an exotic journey around the world as you enjoy a sophisticated evening sampling 21 varieties of cheese accompanied by unlimited and specially selected grapes. Available every Monday from 6pm – 9pm for AED 195 per person.
One of our more recently discovered favourites in Dubai is Café Rouge in Souk Madinat. In addition to their excellent location, they also have great offers throughout the week, including a cheese and grape night every Tuesday from 7pm for just AED 145 per person. You can choose to opt for either a premium cheese platter with free flow of house grape or a three course set menu with premium cheese platter and one glass of house grape.
For the devoted Downtown crowds out there, pop into Feast restaurant at Sheraton Grand Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road every Tuesday night between 6pm – 11pm for unlimited cheese and grape sampling. This really is one for the cheese and grape lovers at just AED 129 per person.
Got a cheese craving on any random day of the week? Don’t worry as JBH offers a daily promotion for cheese and grape at their Palm Court restaurant. Grab a seat in their L-shaped sofas or on the extensive landscaped terrace and indulge in an all inspiring taste journey with a selection of cheese platters and beverage options to pick from. A cheese platter including one glass of grape is AED 90, two glasses is AED 130 or why not take the whole bottle for AED 225.
If you would instead like to host a cheese and grape soirée in the comfort of your own home, we highly recommend popping down to Jones The Grocer on Sheikh Zayed Road. You will think you’ve gone to heaven as you enter the cheese room to select your goodies! They also offer a range of artisanal crackers, preserves and other accompaniments to your cheese.
We’ll be back again next week with more tips on what to get up to around Dubai!
As always we do not undertake sponsored posts, just our advice from us to you!
