Unless you live in a cave up in the mountains of Ras Al Khaimah, you’re no doubt all too familiar with Dubai’s notorious Friday brunches. You may not, however, be aware of its lesser known, but equally potent, cousin – the drunch. As brunch is a cross between breakfast and dinner but typically held from 12pm, drunch is a hybrid of lunch and dinner, that would in theory follow on from brunch, being typically held from 5/6pm.
As we scramble to make the most of the last weeks of good weather, we thought we’d recommend some of the top drunches in Dubai, to enable you to spend the days outside and save the debauchery for when the sun goes down!
Located at the Movenpick Hotel, Jumeirah Lakes Towers. It’s laid back and offers drunch with a live band and all you can eat and drink for AED 150 between 3.30-6.30pm on Fridays.
With amazing skyline views and a relaxed outdoor terrace, the location at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club is stunning. A drunch runs every Friday from 7pm, with prices ranging from AED 275-595 and AED 85 for children 7-12 years old.
Located at the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi, Latest Recipe offers a Sparkling Night Brunch every Friday from 7pm to 10.30pm. The soft drink package is offered at AED 250 or AED 375 for house beverages, and AED 125 for 6-12 year olds.

Drunch After Dark is back again this weekend, with panoramic views from the 24th floor, BBQ and live DJ on the 17th March from 9pm for only AED 245
Every Thursday, Mistral Surf & Turf drunch runs from 6:30pm to 11pm, including freshly prepared seafood and salads and complimented with white or red wines. AED 299 for selected house beverages and AED 199 with soft drinks.
Drunch is offered at Channels on Thursday and Friday evenings with a variety of different foods and house beverages for AED 280.
Whoever said you couldn’t have it all?! Do yourselves a favour and make hay while the sun shines (and the cool breezes are still around) then get out and make the most of these great deals of an evening – save the brunches for the summer months!
Cheers – happy weekend planning!
