We instantly fell in love with the term ‘daycation’, already being huge fans of vacations and staycations (where you stay in your home town but go away to a hotel for a break within your own city). A daycation is similar but on an even short time frame - basically escaping the norm for a day’s break. We’re not sure where the term originated from, but it was certainly made for Dubai, with the abundance of hotels, beaches and leisure destinations, we have no end of daycation options! This post however is dedicated to our favourite beach daycation spots:
Located next on Jumeirah beach, this is an old faithful spot. With facilities ranging from tennis, an indoor gym, kids corner and spa, and with an abundance of dining options, the AED 175 day pass including lunch is great value, combine it with a 60 minute massage at the spa and pay only AED 450!
