Summer is out and events are in!

Spandau Ballet, Dubai Music Week and a lovely long weekend with Eid; so that truly means winter is coming! We can safely say it's not Game of Thrones weather, but we are definitely seeing a chill with the fog this morning. We think there could be foggy heads on two counts this morning after Wales beat England in the World Cup rugby last night. The time difference made it a late finish but it was worth it! We digress, winter equals lots of concerts, ticketed events and time to get outside and enjoy yourself, and it can keep you busy every day. We know it can be difficult to choose which will take your dirham, and we hope that CitiSpi helps making life a bit easier on the pocket so you can enjoy Dubai to the full.

Winter also equals visitors starting to arrive and enjoying holidays with family and friends. We have some top cost-effective tips on our website on keeping them amused without breaking the bank, you can also find some great vids and tips on entertaining in Dubai on our Pinterest page too.

As well as watching the rugby, this weekend the CS team have been debating where to go for Oktoberfest, we always love a good German band and great German food, the thing is that you do have to book early to avoid disappointment. The Grand Hyatt is always a great night out with dancing on the tables, Sheraton JBR food is always fantastic and Barasti is just fun. Would it be rude or  gluttony to enjoy them all?

And talking of events we had a lovely time with our CS ladies last week at the Sofitel JBR, brunch was delicious as always and we will definitely be going back again and again, and just AED45 for brunch that can be enjoyed 24/7 is an absolute steal. Plus there is valet parking at the hotel so you don't need to get bogged down with the traffic along JBR. Can you tell its a CS fave?

We are looking forward to our next CitiSpi Social on Tuesday for Ladies Night at the beautiful Beach House at The Anantara, The Palm. We have also launched two more events for the coming weeks at West 14th and Oeno. Its a great chance to catch up with friends, meet new people, try new places and just generally a good day or night out. Hope to see you there.

Signing off till next week

Hannah (Slightly foggy given the last 24 hours ;))
